A Los Angeles County judge sentenced a man for killing a clerk without the possibility of parole, according to a news release from the Los Angeles district attorney's office.
The gunman, Jahmal Lydel Frazier, robbed victim Roshan Bhandari on October 2010. Sheriff's deputies found a gun, mask and gloves on him and arrested him.
On April 2011, while he was on bail, Frazier shot the clerk multiple times in the parking lot behind the same 7-Eleven store that he robbed him the previous year. Bhandari was sheduled to complete his testimony at Frazier's trail the day he was killed.
A day before he was killed, Bhandari testified in front of a jury for the 2010 robbery.
